Whitney Houston will attend the ‘Live and Loud KL 07’ music festival
Whitney Houston, Dionne Warwick and James Ingram are some of the artistes coming to town to attend the largest and longest-running music festival in Southeast Asia.
“Live and Loud KL 07” will be held from Nov 23 to Dec 2 at several locations, including Stadium Negara, Bukit Kiara Equestrian and Country Resort, KL Sentral and the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang.
Music enthusiasts will have the opportunity to enjoy various genre of music including 1980s pop, R&B and World Music.
“Live and Loud KL” is organised by a company of the same name.
The event will be held annually and will feature international artistes from America , Britain and Indonesia, and local artistes such as Adibah Noor, Jaclyn Victor and Anuar Zain.
“Our aim is to make Malaysia a music hub in the Southeast Asian region.
“We want to show the world that our local performers have what it takes to be on par with international acts,” said Kevin Chua, Live and Loud chief executive.
Besides enjoying good music from some of the best performers in the world, festival-goers can also explore the art and trade of the music industry by attending seminars and workshops.
Tickets, priced from RM100 to RM500, will be available by the middle of next month.
Ticket outlets will be announced at a later date.

EN NUEVO DISCO DE WHITNEY HOUSTON NO SE LANZARÁ EN 2007 (AL MENOS EN ESPAÑA)
Nippy Fan Club se ha puesto en contacto con Sony BMG (Ariola, Marketing Estratégico...) y desde la discográfica nos han confirmado que en el Plan de Lanzamientos de la compañía para lo que resta de año 2007 no se encuentra el nuevo álbum de Whitney Houston. No nos han podido concretar el lanzamiento en 2008 porque hasta finales de octubre no tendran el Plan de Lanzamientos del próximo año.

ENTREVISTA A WILL.I.AM, DE BLACK EYED PEAS
Complicado ir al baño en la casa de Will.I.Am, especialmente después de que te avisan que pone micrófonos en los baños porque le gusta grabar ahí algunos de sus temas. "No en los de huéspedes", aclara un asistente. Menos mal. El alma mater de Black Eyed Peas recibió al Sí! en su casona de Los Feliz. Casi camuflada entre árboles, en las colinas de Hollywood. Mucho blanco, sillones mullidos, rosas y ángeles negros como decoración cerca de la chimenea y un estudio/bunker al que se llega después de descender escaleras estrechas y de abrir una puerta tipo baticueva, pero de vidrio, que le envidiarían unos cuantos músicos.
"Cierro la cortina y me quedo en esta caja, sólo con mi computadora sin saber qué hora es, eso me permite ser creativo", explica mientras, con el control remoto, cierra herméticamente la ventana. "Tengo todo arreglado como para conectarme con el estudio y grabar desde Londres o México o donde sea", se agranda.
Aunque diseña las ropas de los hombres del grupo ("es que con Apl.de.Ap. y Taboo fuimos al secundario juntos"), el diseñador recibido en el Fashion Institute de Los Angeles se presenta de entrecasa: sombrero bordeau, jeans y chaleco negro sobre remera blanca. Will.I.Am tiene disco nuevo (Songs About Girls), y el mundo lo conocerá el 25 de setiembre, justo cuando él estará con su grupo en el Pepsi Music.
-¿Les gustó la primera visita a Buenos Aires, en noviembre del 2006?
-Estoy muy excitado con la idea de volver. Recuerdo que había muchos teens en las primeras filas, me caen re bien, yo fui adolescente alguna vez. Esta vez vamos por dos días, ojalá conozcamos más el país.
-¿Cómo será esta vez el show?
-Voy a presentar un par de temas de mi álbum solista y Fergie va a hacer por lo menos 4 temas del suyo y después haremos canciones de BEP. Lo importante es divertirse y pasar un buen rato.
Mientras habla, panea por los archivos musicales de su computadora y de paso exhibe su trabajo como productor. "Acá tengo temas que quedaron afuera del primer disco de Fergie, creo que haremos otro para Navidad; estos los hice para Mariah (Carey); me encantó éste que grabamos con Whitney (Houston). Estos son los del álbum de Taboo; estos van de cajón en el próximo álbum de BEP (saldrá a fines del 2008) y acá están los de Michael Jackson: tres terminados, cuatro en marcha".
-¿Timbaland dijo que se moría por producir a Jackson pero él te eligió a vos. ¿Cómo fue?
-Me llamó por teléfono. Yo le decia, come on, no jodan'. Y él con su vocecita (lo imita) decía no, en serio, soy Michael Jackson'. Grabamos en Irlanda y en Las Vegas. Quiero que sea un disco para que baile la gente, con buenas melodías y que se escuche muy limpio. Ese es mi aporte.
-Hablás del nuevo disco solista de Fergie. ¿La podrán retener en el grupo?
-Ojalá. Creo que sí, porque BEP tiene una dinámica muy especial, todos podemos ser solistas y a la vez seguir con el grupo. Pero ya éramos BEP antes de que ella llegara. Si no podemos, igual vamos a seguir sacando discos.
-Decís que "Songs About Girls" es autobiográfico. ¿Qué te llevó a hacerlo?
-Empecé a escribir canciones y todas me salieron personales. Necesitaba hacer catarsis. Tuve una relación muy larga, desde los 20 a los 27, que terminó muy mal. Y la última también. Necesito sacarme sentimientos de encima para seguir creciendo. Todos en algún momento tuvimos el corazón roto. Sólo que yo decidí hacer un disco para curar el mío.

PRESS CONFERENCE ON ‘WORLD PEACE TOUR 4 CHILDREN’
An international galaxy of stars will take to the stage in Namibia next year for the first of a series of concerts aimed at raising both funds and awareness to educate and empower children around the world, organizers said today at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The “World Peace Tour 4 Children” is the brainchild of Wolfgang Hildebrandt, a well-known German vocalist and activist, and Lavika Bhagat Singh, Chief Operating Officer of Charity Network Inc., a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C., which campaigns against trafficking in children.
“Children are the future, and when children have no future, nobody has a future,” said Mr. Hildebrandt, at a press conference sponsored by the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations.
“We will start (the Tour) with the first concert on April 22, the official Earth Day, in Namibia,” he said. “We will go after this to South Africa. We will go to India, to South Korea, to Tokyo -- everywhere… We really want to be a light in the darkness.”
Joining the Tour would be Kool and the Gang, Peabo Bryson (who sang with Celine Dion on the soundtrack of Beauty and the Beast), Andrea Bocelli, Carlos Santana, Quincy Jones and Whitney Houston, said Mr. Hildebrant, adding that former Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev would act as master of ceremonies. The actor Richard Gere would also participate.
Also at today’s press conference was Promod Sharma, a successful information technology entrepreneur, philanthropist, and founder of Charity Network, who explained that proceeds would go to both Charity Network and local organizations that reached out to disadvantaged children. “We want to have local artists, local governments, become part of the whole movement.” Funds raised in one area would be spent in that same area, “to help those kids in that area”. The Tour would be a long-term venture, he said, adding, “We want to be able to make sure we come through with this and that it stays with us for a long time.”
Namibia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Kaire Munionganda Mbuende, told correspondents it was “no coincidence” that the “World Peace Tour 4 Children” would begin in his country, as Namibia had been the first to enshrine the rights of the child in its Constitution.
He expressed concern that the situation for children has been “deteriorating”, saying: “We are not only dealing with the question of trafficking in children. We are having a situation of a lot of orphans because of HIV/AIDS. We are having a situation where children are actually heads of households because their parents have died -– you have children taking care of children… Unless you do something about the situation of children, the future would be very bleak for a lot of our countries.”
Also lending support to the “World Peace Tour 4 Children” was the United Nations former Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States, Anwarul K. Chowdhury. He noted how the Tour coincided with the United Nations-declared International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World, which runs through 2010.
“I think this Peace Tour will give the final years of the decade a big boost,” Mr. Chowdhury said. Turning to the organizers, he added: “The heart of the World Peace Tour is education… You will be bringing educational materials, opportunities for education for the children -- and I believe that that’s a wonderful thing.”

WHITNEY ASKED TO PERFORM IN NAMBIA IN 2008 FOR CHILDRENS

A german news site reported that Whitney was asked to perform on this concert: www.worldpeacetour4children.org in Namibia in 2008.
They didn't say if she accepted or not, they only said they asked her (and Celine Dion) and were waiting for her reply.

Windhoek - Das namibische Kabinett hat am Dienstag die Konzertidee begrüßt und gebilligt, nachdem Vizepremierministerin Libertine Amathila das Thema auf die Tagesordnung der Sitzung gebracht hatte. Sie hatte am Montag Besuch von Wolfgang Hildebrandt, Vorsitzender des von den Vereinten Nationen (UN) geförderten Projekts World Peace Tour for Children, in dessen Rahmen von 2008 bis 2010 eine Konzertreihe stattfinden soll. Der Auftakt ist laut Hildebrandt für den 22. April 2008 in Windhoek (Independence-Stadion) geplant, weitere fest stehende Veranstaltungsorte sind Südafrika (Johannesburg oder Kapstadt, am 18. Juli anlässlich des 90. Geburtstags von Nelson Mandela), Kalkutta, Kiew, Los Angeles, Mumbai (früher Bombay), Seoul und Tokio. Während die Ausrichtung der Großveranstaltungen von Sponsoren finanziert würde, sollen die Eintrittsgelder jeweils gemeinnützigen Projekten vor Ort zugute kommen. In Namibia soll der Erlös an HIV/Aids-Projekte fließen, wozu die Vizepremierministerin entsprechende Vorschläge unterbreiten will.
„Der Termin für das Konzert in Windhoek ist nicht zufällig gewählt: Denn der 22. April ist der World Earth Day (Aktionstag für die Erde – wird seit 1970 begangen, die Red.)“, erklärte Hildebrandt gestern im AZ-Gespräch. „Bei einer Pressekonferenz am 21. September im UN-Hauptsitz in New York werden wir den Termin des Konzerts in Windhoek der Welt mitteilen“, führte er aus und hatte zudem noch eine gute Nachricht parat: „Heute früh hat Andrea Bocelli sein Kommen zugesagt.“ Damit sind nun mit Cool and The Gang sowie Paebo Bryson (er verhalf Céline Dion im Jahre 1992 im Duett mit dem Lied „Beauty And The Beast“ zum gleichnamigen Disney-Zeichentrickfilm „Die Schöne und das Biest“ zum Durchbruch) insgesamt drei Weltstars verpflichtet. Windhoek - Das namibische Kabinett hat am Dienstag die Konzertidee begrüßt und gebilligt, nachdem Vizepremierministerin Libertine Amathila das Thema auf die Tagesordnung der Sitzung gebracht hatte. Sie hatte am Montag Besuch von Wolfgang Hildebrandt, Vorsitzender des von den Vereinten Nationen (UN) geförderten Projekts World Peace Tour for Children, in dessen Rahmen von 2008 bis 2010 eine Konzertreihe stattfinden soll. Der Auftakt ist laut Hildebrandt für den 22. April 2008 in Windhoek (Independence-Stadion) geplant, weitere fest stehende Veranstaltungsorte sind Südafrika (Johannesburg oder Kapstadt, am 18. Juli anlässlich des 90. Geburtstags von Nelson Mandela), Kalkutta, Kiew, Los Angeles, Mumbai (früher Bombay), Seoul und Tokio. Während die Ausrichtung der Großveranstaltungen von Sponsoren finanziert würde, sollen die Eintrittsgelder jeweils gemeinnützigen Projekten vor Ort zugute kommen. In Namibia soll der Erlös an HIV/Aids-Projekte fließen, wozu die Vizepremierministerin entsprechende Vorschläge unterbreiten will.
„Der Termin für das Konzert in Windhoek ist nicht zufällig gewählt: Denn der 22. April ist der World Earth Day (Aktionstag für die Erde – wird seit 1970 begangen, die Red.)“, erklärte Hildebrandt gestern im AZ-Gespräch. „Bei einer Pressekonferenz am 21. September im UN-Hauptsitz in New York werden wir den Termin des Konzerts in Windhoek der Welt mitteilen“, führte er aus und hatte zudem noch eine gute Nachricht parat: „Heute früh hat Andrea Bocelli sein Kommen zugesagt.“ Damit sind nun mit Cool and The Gang sowie Paebo Bryson (er verhalf Céline Dion im Jahre 1992 im Duett mit dem Lied „Beauty And The Beast“ zum gleichnamigen Disney-Zeichentrickfilm „Die Schöne und das Biest“ zum Durchbruch) insgesamt drei Weltstars verpflichtet. Aretha Franklin Gets Crowned
The First Lady of Soul, Aretha Franklin, will drop a new album on November 13th, 2007.
Entitled Jewels In The Crown: All Star Duets With The Queen, the album will feature Franklin teaming up with a diverse array of performers including Keith Richards, Whitney Houston, Annie Lennox, George Michael, Mariah Carey, Frank Sinatra, Mary J Blige, and John Legend, just to name a few.
The first single from the album will be "Put You Up On Game," a duet with American Idol's Fantasia, which will be released to radio on October 1st.
Tracks on the album include: "It Isn't, It Wasn't, It Ain't Never Gonna Be" (with Whitney Houston), "What Y'All Came To Do" (with John Legend), "Doctor's Orders" (with Luther Vandross), "Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves" (with Annie Lennox), "Jumping Jack Flash" (with Keith Richards), "Through The Storm" (with Elton John), "What Now My Love" (with Frank Sinatra), "I Knew You Were Waiting" (with George Michael), "Ever Changing Times" (with Michael McDonald), "Love All The Hurt Away" (with George Benson), "A Natural Woman (You Make Me Feel Like)" (with Bonnie Raitt and Gloria Estefan), "Chain Of Fools" (with Mariah Carey) and "Don't Waste My Time" and "Never Gonna Break My Faith" (with Mary J. The album concludes with Franklin's performance of "Nessum Dorma," the aria from Act III of Puccini's Turandot. Hardcore music fans may recall that Franklin stepped in at the last minute and performed the aria in place of ailing tenor Luciano Pavarotti at the Grammy awards world wide telecast in February 1998. With just eight minutes of preparation backstage, she sang it with the 72-piece orchestra in Pavarotti's key (three steps lower than her own) .

Whitney Houston has quietly sold her five-bedroom, 8,022-square-foot house in Alpharetta, Ga. for $1,190,000, just months after it was headed for foreclosure. In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the sale by Houston of the house at 1014 Tullamore Place in Alpharetta, which the diva purchased in 2003 for $1,388,888. Back on May 4, we wrote about the house being on the market for $1,349,000. We also addressed and debunked published rumors that the house, where her then-husband’s 2005 reality TV show “Being Bobby Brown” was filmed, had been sold in a foreclosure sale in November 2006. Now, public records show that Houston sold the house at a loss on May 4, which was the same day as our blog post and just days after the singer and Brown finalized their divorce. As such, it’s pretty clear that the house was awarded to Whitney in the divorce. The sale was recorded on May 14, according to public records. Built in 2001, the two-story house in Alpharetta, which is just outside Atlanta, has seven baths, a master suite on the main level with a morning bar, a keeping room overlooking the kitchen with a wet bar, a breakfast nook, a breakfast bar, a full finished terrace level, a billiard room, a circular driveway, a balcony and a three-car garage, all on a 0.6-acre lot, according to public records and listing information. The buyer is a man who is not a celebrity.

MI EXPERIENCIA EN EL CONCIERTO DE LISBOA 4 JULIO DE 1998
MADRUGADA DEL 3 AL 4 DE JULIO DE 1998:
Suena el despertador, tengo mucho sueño pero no me importa, merece la pena el esfuerzo. Llevaba más de cinco años esperando ese momento y no me lo perdería por nada del mundo.Whitney Houston iba a actuar en Lisboa a las diez de la noche de ese día. Hubo momentos en días anteriores en los que perdí la esperanza de poder asistir a ese concierto, ya que se reunieron un aserie de acontecimiento en mi contra que me lo iban a impedir. Uno de los problemas más importantes era el medio de transporte para llegar a la capital portuguesa, pero por suerte uno de mis hermanos se ofreció a llevarme a Lisboa. A él no le gusta Whitney Houston, pero no le importaba, mientras yo estaba en el concierto, su novia y él se irían a la Expo´98. Durante el viaje no paraba de revisar la mochila, tenia miedo de que se me hubiese olvidado algo, pero no, llevaba la cámara de fotos, dos carretes, un peluche para intentar dársele, una grabadora, dos cintas y la entrada...
LISBOA 11:00 HORAS
Tras dar unas cuantas vueltas conseguimos llegar a las puertas de la Expo. A mi me quedaban once horas para el concierto, pero a mediodía había quedado con otros tres admirador@s de Whitney para asistir al concierto juntos...Mi hermano y mi cuñada entran a la Expo y yo cogí un taxi para ir a pasear por el centro de Lisboa antes de encontrarme con mis compañeros. En el trayecto del taxi veo una parada de autobuses con un gran póster de Whitney Houston anunciando el concierto. Poco a poco mi nerviosismo va creciendo...12:30 horas...Se me pasa muy rápido el tiempo y decido regresar a la Plaza del Rossio, lugar de punto de encuentro con mis compañeros de concierto, pero la casualidad quiso que nos encontrásemos en otro lugar distinto al pactado. Una vez juntos nos ponemos manos a la obra para intentar localizar el hotel en el que se hospedaba Whitney, hicimos llamadas a los hoteles mas importantes de Lisboa haciéndonos pasar por periodistas, preguntamos en varios lugares y al final decidimos ira al hotel mas importante de Lisboa. Llegamos en metro hasta ese hotel, pero no habia ninguna señal que indicase que Whitney se encontraba hospedada alli. Nuestra sorpresa llega cuando vamos a otro hotel cercano y empezamos a ver a varias personas de raza negra entrando y saliendo de ese hotel...
...Esa gente empieza a desaparecer, y nosotros intentamos asegurarnos de que Nippy se encuentra en ese hotel el "LE MERIDIEN PARK ATLANTIC LISBOA*****". Después de varios intentos fallidos preguntamos al botones que estaba en la puerta, pero este no quería decir nada, tras nuestras suplicas nos dice que Whitney se encontraba en la planta numero 12. To le pregunto por el numero de habitación y a lo que me respondió que toda la planta estaba reservada para ella y su equipo... Entre al hotel simulando que hacia una llamada de teléfono desde la cabina que había en su interior. Quería estudiar la posibilidad de llegar a subir, pero era totalmente imposible, la seguridad era total, pero decidimos esperar en la puerta del hotel hasta casi la hora del concierto por si hay suerte y Whitney sale...
...Esa gente empieza a desaparecer, y nosotros intentamos asegurarnos de que Nippy se encuentra en ese hotel el "LE MERIDIEN PARK ATLANTIC LISBOA*****". Después de varios intentos fallidos preguntamos al botones que estaba en la puerta, pero este no quería decir nada, tras nuestras suplicas nos dice que Whitney se encontraba en la planta numero 12. ...Seguimos esperando, de pronto sale por la puerta Rickey Minor, nos quedamos un poco paralizados pero decidimos ir a hablar con el para intentar que nos ayudase a ver a Whitney(POR PEDIR QUE NO QUEDE). Fue muy amable Nos dijo que no era posible ver a Whitney ya que estaba descansando para el concierto. Nos hablo de ella y sus proyectos. Nos habló de que su nuevo trabajo iba a ser algo nuevo y muy distinto (se refería a My love is your love). Le hicimos fotos y nos firmó autógrafos (EL MIO DICE: WHAT A GREAT FAN YOU ARE) y nos despedimos ya que se iba a comer con su hijo que le acompañaba...
...La hora del concierto se acerca, vemos un autobús aparcado en la puerta del hotel, a uno 10 metros de nosotros, el equipo de Whitney empieza a montar en el, también entró Gary Houston, pero entre que le reconocimos y no, ya subía al autobús y no nos dio tiempo a hacer fotos o a intentar hablar con él......Whitney no apareció por ningún sitio y nos tuvimos que marchar al ESTADIO ALVALADE, donde se celebraba el concierto...
...La hora del concierto se acerca, vemos un autobús aparcado en la puerta del hotel, a uno 10 metros de nosotros, el equipo de Whitney empieza a montar en el, también entró Gary Houston, pero entre que le reconocimos y no, ya subía al autobús y no nos dio tiempo a hacer fotos o a intentar hablar con él......Whitney no apareció por ningún sitio y nos tuvimos que marchar al ESTADIO ALVALADE, donde se celebraba el concierto...
ESTADIO ALVALADE 18:30
Después de esperar un rato abren las puertas del estadio, me pongo nervioso, temo que me encuentren lo que llevo escondido (cámara y grabadora), pero no, no lo descubrieron...Nos dirigimos a nuestras silla en la zona VIP A, nos toco muy buena posición, aproximadamente en la quinta línea de sillas frente al escenario. Ahora solo tenemos que esperar que pasen las horas hasta que llegue el concierto. En ese plazo volvimos a hablar con Rickey y nos presentó a su mujer que vería el concierto también desde la zona VIP A. Luego nos pusieron en las pantallas gigantes un partido del mundial y después toco el telonero :"Conner Reeves"......Me empiezo a poner nervioso, falta poco para ver uno de mis sueños hecho realidad y los segundos se me hacen eternos. De pronto apagan Todas las luces, yo, aunque casi no acierto a dar al botón, pongo la grabadora en funcionamiento.Se ven siluetas en el escenario, son los músicos y coristas, empieza a sonar la música (I´m every Woman) es un momento inexplicable. De Whitney ni rastro, me tiemblan las piernas......su inconfundible voz atrapa a todos los que allí nos encontrábamos. Ha empezado a canta!!! no sé desde donde, no la vero. De repente desde el suelo, tras la escalera central del escenario salen dos siluetas: una mujer y una niña... ¡¡¡ES ELLA Y SU HIJA!!!Se encienden las luces, Whitney salio desde un elevador con su hija. No se puede describir lo que sentí en esos momentos, era un mezcla de nervios, alegría extrema, ilusión...Estaba extraordinaria, llevaba un vestido negro, largo y con algunas transparencias...No podía parar de decir ¡¡¡Dios mío!!!, tras unos segundos paralizado, entre en una especia de locura incontrolable que no me permitía parar decantar, bailar y saltar ¡¡¡todo un show!!!......mientras disfrutaba del espectáculo pensaba en como tirarla el peluche que llevaba. A pesar de estar muy cerca no quería arriesgarme a fracasar al tirarlo...Mientras cantaba "I wanna dance with somebody" lo decidí iría a la valla a tirarle el peluche. Yo tenia la imagen de todos esos concierto de Whitney donde la línea del escenario estaba llena de gente, pero este era diferente. NO HABIA NADIE, NI UNA SOLA PERSONA, TODO EL MUNDO ESTABA EN SUS SILLAS, EN TEORIA ESE ERA NUESTRO LUGAR...Cuando terminó de cantar IWDWS se da la vuelta para beber agua. Aproveché ese momento , salí de mi silla al pasillo central y me dirigí a la valla del escenario. Cuando llegué Whtiney continuaba de espaldas. Yo tenía los nervios a flor de piel. Se dió la vuelta y me vió. Yo alcé la mano hacia ella con el peluche, estaba en una especie de sueño, no me lo creía. Ella me hizo un gesto con la mano para indicarme que se lo tirase ya que con la mano no llegaba. Se lo tiré y el peluche fue a parar al suelo, ella se agachó y lo cogió. Al levantarse lo enseñó al público y dijo: Oh, a little rabbit!!! y algo mas que no entendí. Después vuelve a mirarme, me lanza un beso y un poco inclinada hacia mi empieza a cantar: “A few stolen moments It´s all that we share”, yo me eché las manos a la cabeza y el público, sobre todo la zona Vip A empezó a reír, gritar y aplaudir. Fue un gesto muy bonito por su parte. Nunca lo olvidare!!! Después se incorporó y siguió cantando por otras zonas del escenario.... Cuando me di la vuelta todo el mundo me estaba mirando como si fuese un bicho raro, pero me daba igual, había conseguido mucho mas de lo que jamás esperaría.Me siento en el pasillo para intentar tranquilizarme un poco, era incapaz de encontrar mi asiento. Una vez que consigo llegar a mi sitio les digo a mis compañeros que se vengan a la valla conmigo que no nos iban a decir nada. Cogimos las mochilas y la pancarta que los compañeros llevaban preparada y nos fuimos a la valla. Al poco tiempo se unieron a nosotros otras diez o doce personas, teníamos el escenario para nosotros, era increíble (de vez en cuando alguien nos pedía que nos agachásemos, pero era normal). Continuamos todo el concierto allí.Whiteny cantaba un Love Medly, yo ya no contaba con más emociones fuetes, pero en una de las típicas pausas de Whitney en sus canciones grité con todas mis fuerza :NIPPY!!!!!. Cual es mi sorpresa cuando ella contesta: YES BABY!!! Que locura!!! Era increíble, mis compañeros y yo comenzamos a gritar como locos por esa contestación y mi siguiente reacción fue mirar que la grabadora funcionaba correctamente. Cuando llegase y le contase a mi familia todo lo que había ocurrido no se lo creerían, tenia que llevarles pruebas, y creo que yo necesitaría pruebas también, NO ME LO CREIA. Todo estaba saliendo redondo, finalizando "Queen of the night" sube las escaleras y desaparece tras las escaleras...Mientras Gary canta "Change the world" yo aprovecho para dar la vuelta a la cinta, y al cambiar el carrete...Después de la actuación de Gary empieza a sonar la música con un tema de Dianna Ross y por un lateral sale Nippy. Llevaba el atuendo morado que se puso en el concierto de Johannesburgo que tantas y tantas veces había visto soñando estar ahí. Me hizo muchísima ilusión.Mientras ella presentaba a los componentes del grupo, hubo un momento en el que paro para leer en alto la pancarta que llevaban mis compañeros que decía: "Whitney, Madrid - Spain also loves you. Hoping you´ll be takin´ goog memories back to The garden State". Después de leerlo Whitney dijo: I will!!! I love Spain!!!!. El estadio malinterpretó lo que dijo, ya que creían que había dicho I Love You Spain!!! (se ofendieron porque pensaban que Whitney nos sabia diferenciar España de Portugal y que creía que estaba en España). Mucha gente empezó a abuchear y a silbar. Nippy se dió cuenta y lo aclaró y empezó a cantar Whitney loves Portugal!!!! varias veces y siguió con la presentación del grupo. La presentación del grupo lo hacía contando I go to the Rock , por cierto con un final de canción ESPECTACULAR CON VOZ + PERCUSION + LUCES.Después Whitney se despide con I will always love you con su típico recorrido por el escenario, lanzando besos. Sube las escaleras y desaparece tras el humo y las escaleras.Whitney vuelve para cantar Step by Step. Esta vez lleva unos vaqueros y una chaqueta de lentejuelas plateadas. Disfrutamos de la última canción de verdad y Whitney desaparece definitivamente.Se apagan las luces y la música y vemos que Rickey se acerca a nosotros y nos tira el pañuelo de Nippy, con tan mala suerte que cae entre el escenario y la valla y un chico que no tenia nada que ver con nosotros cuatro lo coge al mismo tiempo que nosotros, empezamos un forcejeo por el pañuelo y le decimos que nos le ha tirado a nosotros, que le habíamos conocido y se lo habíamos pedido, pero no había nada que hacer, ya había tirado y se lo había guardado....Me despido de mis compañeros de concierto, compro algunos recuerdos del concierto y voy al punto de encuentro que había acordado con mi hermano, en una de las puertas del estadio. Les cuento todo lo ocurrido en el concierto, hago incidencia en lo de el peluche, diciendo que sabia que no me iban a creer, pero que me daba igual, que lo tenia grabado. Pero sí me creyeron, ellos terminaron muy pronto de la Expo, así que para no esperar compraron unas entradas y vieron el concierto desde las gradas. Vieron perfectamente la odisea del peluche desde las pantallas gigantes.Ha sido una experiencia irrepetible, ya sueño con volver a otro concierto, siempre teniendo claro que ningún otro será como este. ¡¡¡Me encantaría confundirme!!!.

SEGUIMOS SIN NOVEDADES
Después de las vacaciones han cambiado poco las cosas. Seguimos con los interminables rumores sobre el lanzamiento de su nuevo disco. El 11 de Septiembre es la fecha lanazada por varios foros como fecha para la salida del primer single, que al parecer se llamaría "Begin To Hope", pero hoy es 6 de septiembre y no se ha vuelto a saber nada. Todo apunta a que tendremos que esperar hasta 2008 para poder disfrutar del disco.
